“The production team is definitely going for the same sort of “build interest by inspiring viewer incredulity” tone that was accomplished in “Let’s Eat”, and so far all the characters, even Dae-yeong, come off more as genuinely personably weird than they do actors in some sort of larger grand narrative. That’s how you build an intriguing situational comedy, and I look forward to seeing more of what the second season has in store”.

“This episode felt disjointed, and a little too frantic. It also didn’t do much to make the characters likable (…)”

” I am constantly comparing everything (….) to the first drama. So I am not even going to pretend I am not. That is why we are going to have a face off recap”.
“The best part about Let’s Eat is always THE FOOD. However, in this episode, the food porn is not satisfying at all”.
“It’s a bit too early to say anything yet–after all, I’ve only seen two episodes–but if the first two installments of this series is any indication of the rest of the series, I think that I may like the sequel even more than I did the original”.
“Overall, a good start on this show and even if one doesn’t watch it for the plot the food images is worth it”.
“Although Eat 2 hasn’t technically flopped, somehow bits of the original magic are missing“.
“(…) here we only sometimes catch a glimpse of the food, and not only is Korean food being introduced, there is food from other countries coming out as well. For example, in episode 4, Indian food was shown, and as usual, everything looked freaking delicious”.
“While it may take a while for fans of Season 1 to come around, I eventually found Let’s Eat 2 to be just as warm, endearing and tasty as its predecessor”.
” It’s about food, togetherness, friendship, and community. All the things that we as human beings crave. Check it out if you haven’t yet”.
“The first episode was also really slow. Instead of going “omo, it’s over already?” I was going “oh, finally, episode one is over!” which is particularly a bad sign”.
“(…) I will admit that while I’m hesitant to suggest that Let’s Eat 2 will capture the magic of the first season, it seems like it will be a fun and entertaining drama that will be wholly enjoyable on its own (…)”.
