sab@nekosdrama:

There’s nothing extremely engaging, nor is there anything that really turns me off. Ji-sung‘s portrayals of meek, docile Do-hyun versus volatile, bad boy Se-gi are fun to watch. But I can’t help but snark a little at the “transformation” process — it sorta reminds me of a human turning into a werewolf (or something)”.

“This drama would not have been successful without Ji Sung’s wonderful, wonderful acting”.

Series review

chunkeemonkeeato@musings of a chunkeemonkeeato:

“All in all, Kill Me, Heal Me has a lot more to offer the viewer in terms of the story and characters. It’s not a perfect drama and there a number of far-fetched developments but at least it’s not a repetitive cycle of the same character outlines and plotlines being played out from a successful drama that’s about 4 years old”.

Series review

diana@somewhat diana:

” I believe this drama is worth watching for the characters themselves. The cast and crew did an amazing job at creating a dramatic drama while still being able to have funny moments that really connected the characters”.

Series review

joyce@seoulbeats:

“And what really made Kill Me Heal Me work was not only the entertaining and diverse set of personalities, but also Ji’s ability to go the whole nine yards for each personality, and inevitably causing the audience to fall in love with them”.

soori@shikidrama:

“Before I proceed in my opinion, I want to give a small advice, don’t think too lightly of this drama, there is more behind it, is not a simple rom-com as one may think – to put is simply, writer Jin Soo Wan is one smart person”.

Series review  Episodes 03 to 06  Episodes 01 & 02

neenee@asian addicts anonymous:

“This drama is awesome! I wouldn’t have steadily marathoned this into the wee hours of the morning if it wasn’t. I think the best part of the drama is Ji Sung and his handling of the complex character of Cha Do Hyun who is beleaguered with several personalities”.

First impressions (up to episode 8)

professor akia@akiatalking:

“Even though I had issues with fully getting into the show, “Kill me, Heal me” (2015) is a strong enough show that I stayed with it. I still hate the psychology angle of the show that seem unwarranted and tacked on. But, the chemistry between the leads is strong enough to keep me coming back”.

First impressions (up to episode 08)

nobodybutkyu@unstoppablesun:

” Ji Sung not only pulls off ALL SEVEN personalities with aplomb and finesse, but his perfection even extends to the main persona. See, there’s always the risk with a personality as magnetic as Shin Se Gi, that the main character turns out a bit lacking. But Cha Do Hyun is…just marry me already”.

“It probably won’t be remembered for much other than “that drama where Ji Sung played seven different characters,” but, for now, it is a somewhat interesting drama that helps to pass the time”.

charmedangeI8@crazy about asian dramas:

“I have to say Ji Sung’s acting is top notch. Producing 7 personalities and each one is fantastic as the one before”.

” Aside from the fact that the beginning of this drama made me super uncomfortable, I like it so far. I don’t think that I could have watched this drama if we were going to be in America for an extended period of time with the way things were going”.

kd@kdlovesdramas:

“So far, I’m really loving all the people in Ho Goo’s life, except Do Hee. I don’t know, she brings a kind of sad vibe to the picture, contrary to the other characters”.

dramarookie@the crazy ahjummas:

“”Kill Me, Heal Me” got off to a rollicking, brisk, and mind-bendy start this week.
Cut the adjectives. It was SO! STINKIN! GOOD!“.

First impressions

orion@hancinema:

“‘Kill Me, Heal Me’ is an old school drama in the sense that it is outrageous and makes no attempt at being quality work, but has its emotional center sorted and entertainment value set. It is one of the shows that require and are arguably more enjoyable with little thinking and a lot of feeling. This makes it quite a fun drama for what it is”.

Series review   First impressions

picadrama@picadrama:

” I just wish that this drama took a more subtle approach to Do Hyun’s alternate transitions instead of making it seem like, Hulk Smash, Rawr complete with transitions, eye gleams, etc.”.

First impressions

cali@diary of a k-drama addict:

“The show definitely starts out more lighthearted but when the show starts delving into it’s plot and we start digging into these characters past we see how heartbreaking their situations really are”.

Series review

fanderay@dramabeans:

“Every single one of Do-hyun’s alternate personas would have showcased these feelings differently, but Ji Sung seems to jump between roles like it’s easier than breathing (I particularly enjoy Perry Park’s appearances)”.
